Membership Requirements
The application process helps to ensure that ISPWP members meet the requirements for experience, talent, integrity, professionalism, and references. The membership committee will evaluate applicants on the following criteria:
Experience: Members must have photographed a minimum of 50 weddings as the primary in-charge photographer. Weddings shot as a tag-along, second, or backup photographer do not count. This is the minimum experience requirement, many ISPWP members have shot hundreds of weddings.
Talent: Members must submit a website/blog/portfolio for review by a panel of ISPWP members. Online portfolio galleries must demonstrate artistic and technical ability. The portfolio must display a minimum of three galleries of complete weddings. Galleries that only display “selected favorites” from multiple weddings will be rejected.
Integrity: Members must have no outstanding complaints with consumer protection organizations such as the Better Business Bureau.
Professionalism: Members must operate in accordance with the ISPWP Code of Conduct. This protects both the photographer and the client, and provides assurance to the client they are dealing with a professional who takes their business seriously.
References: Members must submit 2 client references, and 2 peer photographer references, or be sponsored by an existing ISPWP member.

Ranking/Placement System
Page rankings will be based on “ranking point” system and depends on a number of factors including:
- Contest participation and results
- Volunteering for contest judging and serving on committee assignments

Application Process Steps
- Fill out the online Application Form
- Your application will be reviewed and your references will be contacted.
- If your application is accepted, you will be sent a form to send in your listing details (business description, gallery images, etc.).
- When your listing details and payment is received, your listing will be added.
Refund/Exchange/Cancellation Policy
MEMBERSHIP: You may cancel your ISPWP membership within 30 days of your listing being posted on the ISPWP website with a full refund. You must submit an email request to cancel your membership within 30 days of your site being listed on the ISPWP website in order to receive a refund. Should you decide to cancel your annual membership after 30 days of your listing being posted on the ISPWP website, there will be no full, partial, or pro-rated refund.
CONTEST: Any contest entry fees submitted are non-refundable.
