Bre Thurston is an award winning photographer, educator, speaker, and author. She began her professional photography journey in 2010 after working five years in publishing. In 2014 she published her first book, For the Love of Weddings: A Photographers Guide to Starting a Wedding Photography Business. She quickly realized that she had as much of a passion for teaching as she did shooting and has since taught at several successful conferences and events as well as online workshops. 2015 brought along a new endeavor, Blair + Thurston Retreats which she co-founded with Elena Sanchez Blair. With over 18 years of professional experience and more than 3,000 weddings photographed, KHC has developed a distinctive visual language that blends cinematic storytelling, refined composition, dramatic use of light, and genuine human emotion.
