Real Wedding Description

It might seem strange to do an engagement shoot at Green Mount Cemetery, but it's actually one of Baltimore's hidden gems. It's a supremely beautiful and peaceful spot in the midst of the urban chaos, and I was really happy when Sam and Jen wanted to do their photos there. I actually hadn't visited since high school (700 or so years ago) so it was good to get back.

We started the shoot at Greenmount Coffee Lab, making some photos and knocking back some caffeine while waiting for the cemetery to open. Once through the gates, we pretty much had the place to ourselves except for a few groundskeepers. Between the beauty of the space and obvious love that Sam and Jen have for one another, the photos practically took themselves. A few of my favorites images are below.  (By the way, the stone with pennies on it is the unmarked grave of John Wilkes Booth).

Absolutely natural photography at the Green Mount Cemetery. Good luck to Sam and Jen.
