Real Wedding Description

This wedding and ceremony were held at the Inn at Osprey Point in Rock Hall, Maryland on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

There were heavy rains the week before this wedding and the Chesapeake was creeping up towards the location where the tent was to be placed. Fortunately the skies cleared by Saturday and Sarah and Matt had a beautiful day for their outdoor wedding.

The ceremony was held on the lawn in front of the inn with the Chesapeake Bay and lots of elegant sailboats as a backdrop. Hilariously, a couple of ducks started quacking during a solemn part of the ceremony and a lot of people (including me) were fighting hard not to crack up.

Matt and Sarah are an incredibly sweet couple, the kind of people who seem to worry about everyone else’s well-being, even on the day when they themselves are the guests of honor. Their family and friends were all cut from the same cloth. Combine this with the lovely location and perfect weather, and I was a happy photographer indeed.
