Last year in July I spent three days with Julia and Philipp and their marriage. Starting on Thursday with the civil marriage on Schloss Drachenburg in the Rhine valley, we continued with a wedding-eve-party on Friday. And here I’ll show you Saturday – Julia’s Getting Ready, the church wedding in one of the most beautiful churches in the area, the reception, dinner and a wild party at Schlosshotel Kronberg.

Schlosshotel Kronberg is a really wonderful location and luxury hotel since 1954. Though located only minutes from Frankfurt in the Rhein-Main area, it’s hidden in the soft hills of the Taunus. Originally known as Castle Friedrichshof it was built in 1893 as home for the former German Empress Victoria Friedrich. Even until today the castle belongs to the private property of the landgrave and the Princes of Hesse.

A dignified location, being the stage for a day bursting of emotion and dazzling with fun.
