Real Wedding Description

Bree + Cale are the definition of love. She from Sydney, Australia, he from Toronto, Canada, their story together began seven years ago. They were both backpacking through Europe and were assigned the same room at – none other than – the Peace & Love Hostel in Paris, France. From there, a relationship sparked and they have been together ever since. They have traveled the world and settled in Sydney for the past few years.

When planning their wedding they knew that family and friends were most important so they planned two affairs: a civil ceremony in Sydney during the hot Australian summer and a Jewish ceremony in Toronto in snowy January. I was fortunate enough to have traveled to Sydney in the fall so was able to do an engagement portrait session while I was there. To be able to capture them in both of the cities that hold their heart was special. Cale’s father performed their Toronto ceremony and as a first dance, Bree & Cale together sang “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” I loved every minute of it.
