You can't really go wrong with any venue in Colorado, but the Sonnenalp Hotel in Vail is perhaps one of the best spots for a mountain wedding. And as Vail wedding photographers, it's definitely one of our favorite spots to shoot. Genevieve and Jon opted to go the traditional route and see each other for the first time as Genevieve was escorted down the aisle by her father. Both the bride and groom shed happy tears as the rain felt lightly outside the glass-enclosed ceremony site. Fortunately, the weather cleared up shortly after the ceremony, so we trekked into Vail Village for some wedding party and couple's portraits. Genevieve and Jon's Vail mountain wedding wrapped up with a raucous party, complete with a reenactment of the first scene from the Lion King, featuring a baby in headphones!
