Real Wedding Description

Greenville SC Wedding photographers have always known that Pretty Place Chapel, also known as Fred W. Symmes Chapel, is one of the most unique wedding venues around.  As a part of YMCA Camp Greenville, it has always been known as "Pretty Place" due to the spectacular views from the chapel itself.  From the very beginning, Matt and Lee knew they wanted to have their wedding at this chapel because despite the remoteness of the location, they knew it would add a truly unique touch to their wedding.  

The wedding day itself was quite an undertaking - It involved nearly 200 miles of travel, 5 distinct locations, and 13 hours of wedding day fun.  Her getting ready photos took place in a modern hotel in Spartanburg SC, which offered a unique contrast to the open-aired Pretty Place chapel and vineyard reception.  Victoria Valley Vineyards was chosen for the reception, which turned out to be a beautiful choice amidst the unpredictable June mountain weather.  The travel was definitely a challenge to work out - The reception location itself was a nearly 40 minute drive from the Chapel - But with the help of the bride's excellent organization and planning skills, we were able to get everything done on time.  The results were spectacular, and I could not have asked for a better couple to share the day with.
