From Miami-Beach to Kronberg im Taunus

A few years ago, when same sex weddings were widely uncommon and really difficult, Tommy und Chad made all their way from Florida to Europe, to get married in a church in Frankfurt, Germany.

When two guys say YES to each other...

Two grooms, a bunch of groomsmen and three bridesmaids (or should they be called groomsmaids!?) were the ingredients for a nice getting ready at Schlosshotel Kronberg. The bridesmaids wore Vera Wang wedding dresses which caused some confusion at the hotel, but looked awesome. A bus brought us to the church in Frankfurt where the ceremony at the "Friedenskirche" was as wonderful as it was entertaining. Back at the Hotel the boys got the party started. Already the reception at Tommy's and Chad's room was more than one could expect. And these guys kept going. Emotional speeches, great moments and the realization that even the smallest wedding party can make the dancefloor burn. As alwas the wedding photos just happened along the way. Just as the group-shot that has become my alltime favourite.

Today a lot has changed. In 2015 a Florida court has decided on same-sex marriages being legal in Florida. Over here in Europe, it's already a standard in many countries. Just last year, Ireland for example had a referendum for equality in marriage with a vast majority for it. So it's time for somenhting to happen again also in Germany.
