Real Wedding Description

The Parkside Resort & Spa is one of the newer wedding venues in Victoria, B.C. Amber & Jason’s wedding was set on a rooftop patio overlooking the city and legislature buildings. The Parkside is completely committed to sustainability and it’s a great backdrop for couples hoping to have an environmentally friendly wedding. Plus the lighting around the resort was spectacular. Amber & Jason were surrounded by their closest family and friends and they treated everyone to a cocktail party while the sun was setting. They had several large picture frames which meant for some impromptu photo-booth style clowning around. I customize my approach for each couple and like to offer a range of styles. I thought Amber & Jason had the perfect personalities to pull of some great fashion portraits, plus they were perfect to work with in dramatic night-time light. These two were incredibly easy to work with and completely photogenic. I really hope I’m able to go back to this location again for weddings because it was the perfect setting for a wedding.
