A very special rendez-vous in the south of France:

I see weddings as ribbons that encircle the warm bonds between a couple and their loved ones into a bouquet of shared joys and special memories. One such memory I was privileged to capture on film, was the wedding of Marine & Matthieu, two former classmates who found love, years after graduating.

Theirs is a world-wind romance which took them from Provence to Paris and New York, then back to the south of France, where it all began.

This true-life fairy tale took place at Saint Laurent, one of the oldest churches in Marseille followed by a joyous & sumptuous reception at the romantic Bastide de Puget, situated at the foot of the majestic St Victoire mountains in the heart of Provence.

The revelry, warmth, & sense of family made everyone feel so welcomed and so lucky to be part of such a special moment that no one wanted the night to end.

And although the wedding may have taken place at the twilight of summer, for Marine and Matthieu it’s obviously only the beginning of a long life together, happily ever after.
