Real Wedding Description

Dylan and Christine got married on a beautiful day in mid-April. Their ceremony was held at St. Casimirs Church in Baltimore’s Canton neighborhood, with a ceremony at the spectacular George Peabody Library (now attached to the famous Peabody Institute music school).

I met Dylan, strangely enough, on a medical mission to Ecuador. He is a surgeon who does lots of pro bono work around the world, and I was there doing some photography for the group. It was funny seeing him in a tuxedo, as the last time I had photographed him he was in surgical scrubs and a mask!

One moment which stands out to me was when I caught Dylan and Christine practicing their first dance alone in a elegant library. Luckily I was able to tip toe in and get a shot before the moment was over.

After the Catholic Ceremony at St. Casimirs, we did some portraits outside in Mount Vernon Square, near the Washington Monument and Walters Art Gallery.

The catering was by Chef’s Expressions, one of the biggest and best caterers in Baltimore, and the music was by the Bachelor Boys Band- a new group to me, and excellent.
