WOW, this is AMAZING. This woman in this winning photo is actually my late grandmother of 92 years. I had the AMAZING honor of photographing my cousins wedding this last summer (my cousin was 4th generation). She passed on March 7 while I was shooting a wedding in the Mayan Riviera. It was devastating to hear the news to say the least… My AMAZING team (congrats to contest winner Juan Jose Ewan) covered a wedding for us and a TTD for us while Sol and I made an emergency trip to her funeral in South Carolina.
Her life was a blessing to me, seriously I cherish all my time with her. But this folks is the icing on the cake. Thank you ISPWP for giving me a chance to showcase our imagery and for the judges for selecting this frame!

Congrats Del Sol Photography!! Wow…first, second AND third place around the world?! You guys are amazing. You taught me, as a bride, the supreme value of being able to remember (and even see for the first time!), all the details of our wedding that were just a blur to me, and re-feel those emotions, captured in the images of gifted and professional artists such as you and Sol. Your pictures truly reflect the importance of the happiest day of my life and reinforce that only the best photographer is enough for the best occasion!
