| Description: Working as a wedding photographer across the South of England, I initially trained as a painter (Fine Art – not walls! lol) at Winchester School of Art (B.A. Hons Fine Art). Exchanging my paint brush and palette knife for a camera in the last two years of my degree set me on the path I followed for the next ten years. I have worked on location, lifestyle photography and creative for marketing – but found my passion specializing in photographing weddings, which I’ve been involved in exclusively for about five years now.
I have a creative, relaxed, natural style – I think it bridges a gap between reportage at one and and fine art at the other. People are at the centre of everything image I create, and I really enjoy the challenge of making truly beautiful and candid shots for you to remember your day. I have a real passion for capturing the little ‘real life’ moments which tell a story – evoking the emotions of the moment.
I love weddings – the emotions, the challenge, the unpredictable nature, and most of all the privilege of recording such a special and intimate day in a couple’s life together.
I’m assisted by Heidi on shoots with large numbers of guests, or in complex locations.
Oh, and when I’m not working I’m a keen SCUBA diver… so if you want to get married underwater…!  |
