Description: I have been in love with photography since the first moment that I picked up a camera.  For as long as I can remember people would ask me two things…1. What do you want to do when you grow up and 2. What do you like to do in your spare time?  My answer to both of these questions is always photography because to me they are one in the same.  The world never stops and the people in it never stop laughing, loving, crying, breathing, and just plain living, which means there are always moments to be captured!

I fell in love with photography because of the precious moments in life that are meant to be relived over and over again.  I truly believe that a photograph can do this!  It’s my job to do this for you whether it be on your wedding day or with your family.

Recently, I have become an international award winning photographer through the [AG]WPJA – The Artistic Guild of Wedding Photojournalist Association.  This is an international organization who chooses photographers who capture the moments of a wedding in a photojournalistic style and who excel in post production fine art.  I was ranked 3rd Internationally in Wedding Photojournalism which was a huge honor to even be among such wonderful photographers.

I also have had numerous photographs place in the contests they have held throughout the year – from 2nd to 17th!  I am also an active member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America).  I’ve also received the Bride’s Choice Award from Wedding Wire and am now a member of the ISPWP!

Personally, I am a Knoxville, TN native who attended Berry College in Rome, GA until 2004.  I graduated with a degree in Communications and then went on to receive my Master’s at Kennesaw State University.  I got married shortly after college to my husband Jay and we currently moved back to Knoxville with our sweet little puppy dog Peter.

I am available for weddings in TN, GA and anywhere else you might want to take me!  I am available for destination weddings!
