SHIFT/TILT is a creative collective composed of some of the finest wedding and portrait photographers in the world. SHIFT/TILT WORKSHOPS was founded on the philosophy that creative visual professionals needed more than just craft and technique in their pursuit of compelling imagery. They need VISION + VOICE.

Romin Lee Johnson, a photographer, ISPWP member, and educator based in Seoul, founded SHIFT/TILT in 2008 with the hope of filling this void. There are many fine photography workshops that focus on technique; we like to refer to this as the ‘YANG’ aspect of one’s craft. There are also many workshops that challenge photographers to turn the camera on themselves; to reflect deeply on their hopes and fears in life and their vision and purpose for their craft; we refer to this as the ‘YING’ aspect of photography.

SHIFT/TILT WORKSHOPS aim to provide both.
