Wedding Description
When I shot Krista and Scott’s engagement session last fall, they warned me that their friends were crazy and I should be prepared for lots of antics on their wedding day. It was one of those “is that a threat or a promise” moments for me. I love fun loving wedding parties!
They didn’t disappoint. Krista and Scott looked amazing and their friends and family were an absolute riot. In fact, you could say the whole DAY was crazy!
They had a beautiful poolside ceremony at Krista’s best friend Melinda’s property. As the ceremony began it started to sprinkle juuuust a little bit. Not quite enough to seek shelter, but enough that a few guests hid under their sweaters. It was really quite refreshing as we’d been having a record heat wave. When the ceremony ended and we moved to the tent for the reception, a major storm hit and we were entertained by thunder, lightning and buckets of rain for the rest of the evening!
Other entertainment included the groomsmen having an improvised ‘battle of the speeches’ and there was also the Finnish tradition of ‘stealing the bride’. Rumour has it (and so do the facebook pics) that people were even jumping in the pool – tuxes and all – at the end of the reception.
I’d say the day was a great success.

Audra,
When meeting with you at Scott and Krista’s wedding as you sat at our table (LUCKY US TO BE IN SUCH ESTEEMED COMPANY) I was thrilled to be next to the person that had photographed the “engagement” pyxs of which I had fallen in love with the black and whites!! You have an extremely magnificent gifted eye and trigger finger on that camera of yours and may your clientele and career increase tenfold and be as sublime as your work and stellar as your personality! Indeed. xoxo
Leslie you are too sweet! I’m blushing.
Thanks for the kind words!
Audra these pics are amazing!!! Everyone loved you (especially Scott’s camera-hound friends:) and said that you were a wonderful photographer. You really did help to capture all of the love, fun, and craziness that went on that day. I can honestly say that the wedding day would not have been the same without you and your sense of humour. Thank you so much for being so awesome!! We love you!!
Love very great photos

Hi there, i was wondering where you got the horse from. I actually want a horse at my wedding and since its an indian wedding my groom will be riding the horse. I’ve tried looking to see if i can rent a horse but i can’t find anything. How much did it cost? Please get back to me, thank you very much.
FUNNY!!!
