Wedding Description
We were married almost 2 years to the day from the night we first met, which happened to be at a mutual friends wedding. This was the second time we walked down the aisle together, we were paired up in the wedding party two years before.

We wanted to get married on the Delaware beach and could not have asked for a better weekend, for the wedding and our guests. The wedding did not take place in a formal setting so the sound of the ocean was our music and the sand was our altar. There was no real rehearsal but everything came together as though we had practiced it over and over.

The most difficult decision in planning was where we were going to hold the reception because we didn’t want people driving several hours to hang out in a room that could have been anywhere. The Baycenter was the last place we went to look and the floor to ceiling windows looking out over the bay were exactly what we had been looking for. The sunset on the night of the wedding was beautiful and it was the only time our guests stopped dancing. The Red Alert Band had everyone on their feet the entire night and no one wanted to leave when they stopped playing. The party did not end at the reception, and it continued well into the morning, back at the hotel.

It is amazing how fast the day goes by after 10 months of planning, but our wedding was all that we hoped it would be and we would not change a thing.
