Unsolicited thank you’s that remind me why I love doing what I do:

I really don’t know what to say or how to express our gratitude. All I can say is wow. We LOVE LOVE LOVE our pictures. What an awesome job you did. I hate that I’m at work today and can’t share them with people (they block certain websites …boo)

Like I’ve said before Kirsten, it was such a pleasure to meet and work with you. You are truly talented and seem like such a fun and genuine person. I am glad you are crazy busy with work :). You deserve to be.

Take care,

Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you so very very much for everything! You truly are the best! We had a wonderful time working with you and are so glad that you were there to capture our day. Thank you for all you did from the family portraits with Scott’s fam on Monday and our awesome session with you after to all of the amazing wedding shots and fun photo booth pics. Also thank you for taking the time to work with my two aunts and their families the day after. Everyone just raved about how great you were. You are so incredibly creative and talented, you blow my mind! I knew from the first time I saw your site and blog that you were the perfect photographer for us. You are an awesome and amazing person and we are so blessed to have gotten to meet you. Words really can’t describe how grateful we are but from the bottom of our hearts, thank you! Much thanks to Jess too, she was really cool to work with and I’m sure she is learning so very much from you. We’re off to Punta Cana. Thanks again for everything and take care!

lots of love,

Meg & Scott

I am so excited to get the pictures!! I LOVE them!!! One of my favs is definitely the one through the car window, you are so creative! Johnny really likes them too!! Ahh!! I’m so excited, I think I jumped up and down when I saw your email :) I’m so glad we did it in our hometown, it’s very ‘us’. I feel so blessed and lucky with all of this!! I’m so excited about our pictures!! I can’t stop looking at them!!! You have such an amazing eye, and always captured the moment as it happens. I could remember most of what we were talking about and what was going on just by a single image. If you ever need a reference, good word, or anything for a potential client or competition please let me know I would be happy to help!!! I can’t wait for the wedding!! :)

OOOOOOMMMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!!!! They are A-Mazing!!! You sent them at the perfect moment because I was in my email, so I caught them right away, and Brendan and my sis were sitting right next to me so the world just stopped in our house for the last hour while we looked at them all…. and oooohed and ahhhhed!!

We completely totally love them!

Thanks sooooo much!

Okay gotta go… I’ve got an anxious mom to share pics with!

Sincerely, Kristin

Hi Kirsten!

I absolutely love the pictures!!! I love every group of pictures and all of the details & touches. The Scrabble idea was amazing!!! You seriously are one of the most creative people I know! I also LOVE the starfish pictures. I’ve already gone through around 860 and ranked my favorites, I just couldnt peel myself away because I couldnt wait to see the next one. In fact, I ate dinner in about 7 minutes flat so I could get back to the laptop – like a kid who wants to watch cartoons or something :)

I would be more than happy to give you all the vendor information – I will get it all together in the morning and send it to you tomorrow. I will also put a check in the mail to you tomorrow.

Thanks again for everything! I am so glad that I have such AMAZING photos to remember the weekend by and to show my grandchildren one day! You are so so so talented!

Oh you dear and talented creature!  I spent hours and hours looking at the pictures last night.  There are so many great ones.  And there are so many.  I don’t know how you could have been all but invisible and still have been there at just the right moment to capture all those shots.  Kirsten, I had complete faith that your work would be great but I really can’t begin to tell you how very pleased I am with all of these pictures.  Somehow after all the months of planning and preparation, the actual event came & went so fast and then we were back at home & work almost as if it never happened.  (so sad!)  But now I feel like I just experienced all of it again!  It is shocking how little a mind can actually take in and retain at a given time.  If photography served as nothing more than a tool to trigger memories that we would otherwise forget, then it would still be a great tool.  But when it is put into the hands of someone who, not only documents the moment, but preserves the feelings and emotions as well then it truly does become art.  You are a fine artist indeed.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
