| Description: Born and raised in the lovely city of Kuching, the capital of the state of Sarawak in East Malaysia, Shen is one of the fastest growing photographers in Malaysia. For the love of photographing people and touching moments, Shen specializes in weddings and modern portraiture.
Shen considers himself as a passionate wedding photographer. He believes his personal photography style is simple, fun, relaxing, natural, journalism, modern and stylish with a mixture of traditional approach.
While consistently upgrading his skills through various educational materials and workshops, Shen is also a recognized international award winning wedding photographer. In 2009, Shen’s signature award winning photograph, “Father’s Prayer” has made him the first and only Malaysian who has won 1st Place in Wedding Photojournalism category in Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) print competition, one of the world’s largest organization for wedding and portrait photographers. He bagged another award, 3rd place in the Wedding Details category in the same year.
