| Description: I received my formal education in photography from the University of Illinois – Chicago from which I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography & Film with a minor in Art History, earning high marks recognized on both the Honor Roll & Dean’s List. I was nationally selected to intern for the Walt Disney World Corporation in Orlando, Florida where the foundation for my exceptional customer service attributes are rooted.
For years prior to opening my studio I captured hundreds of weddings as a freelance photographer working for local and nationwide photography studios, perfecting and honing my skills, while discovering the importance of constantly striving for excellence and delivering a personalized level of attention to my clients. I now shoot solely for myself, with the aid of 2 professional full time photograhers on my staff and 2 videographers. Together we photograph weddings, events and portraits full time, favoring limited bookings per season, preferring to offer only the highest quality, prompt and professional performance, assuring swift turn-around times and individualized attention. In all, I’ve personalized photographed nearly 350 weddings since 2005.
My portrait, event and commercial photography has been featured on covers of best selling books (Educating Esme: Diary of a Teacher’s First Year), in magazines (Rolling Stone Magazine, Spin Magazine, Relix Magazine), in newspapers (The New York Post, The Miami Herald, The Hampton Daily Press, The San Francisco Examiner, The Chicago Tribune) and seen on many websites across the internet. My fine art photography has been seen in Chicago Magazine, Chicago Social and The Chicago Tribune Magazine along with art festivals and exhibitions in Chicago, Miami, and Burlington, Vermont.

I am a proud member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America), WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International), NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals), Greener Photography (greenerphotography.org), in addition to several leading professional wedding, portrait and event photography forums. I attend national seminars and educational conferences annually to stay focused on industry product developments, the latest equipment and current techniques.
I am fully insured with millions of dollars in policies covering my liability to every client – including my assistants, second-shooters, videographers and other subcontractors – toward damage to any location, personal injury, medical expenses and automobile liability.
I am an incorporated business in the State of Illinois recognized as Jason Kaczorowski Events Incorporated. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago and operate Jason Kaczorowski Photography studio in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood. |
