Ralf Obermann (born in ‘67) initially pursued a successful career as an architect after graduating in interior design. However, he only rarely found the cooperation with architecture photographers satisfactory. Thus he developed his own concept of object photography. Given Ralf’s increasing success, his architectural work eventually took the back seat to photography. In time, he took charge of the people and event photography assignments with Nicole’s agency No-Limit. Nicole Obermann (born in ‘70) founded the advertising agency No-Limit in 1994. She has managed numerous projects, particularly in the area of B2B communication, working together with prestigious industrial clients such as Mercedes Benz, Siemens and other national players. The inherent challenge of individual and innovative image concepts brought her to the field of photography.

In the year 2000, Ralf and Nicole travelled to Canada for an assignment and after their first contact with wedding reportage photography, there was no turning back. Not very well known in Germany back then, the concept has had a major influence on their photographic oeuvre ever since.
They further developed this particular genre and successfully adapted it to German requirements. Since 2004, their style has been giving fresh ideas, inspiration and new perspectives to the somewhat fusty image of wedding photography in Germany.

Meanwhile, Nicole and Ralf work with a team of eight, they travel all over the globe, train colleagues and benefit from the diverse experience of their working life.
