What makes this such a strong image is the suggestion of space given by the variation in the size of the people. The colour is very seductive and although highly simplified it’s interesting and very appealing.

This often happens to me, I have an image I like but it does not look anything like a wedding image but this is a truly magical image, evoking fairy tales and dreams. The movement in the background really isolates the subject and the curve of the sparks leads the eye to the subject.

Well caught (pardon the pun). Might have been stronger with a tighter crop and a slightly darker background. / Very bold decision to capture the bouquet toss this way, it worked.

A tender image which would have been much better if it has been cropped tighter, the arm on the left could be removed… get closer to the lovely subject.

The harmony of the diagonal lines guide the eye through the image. The great lighting and colours make the image pop out. The added bonus are the fantastic expressions of the subjects and the two people in the background.

It was very hard trying to choose the top five in this category because I loved them all. This is another I find magical. The exposure is superb, the colours are delightful and there are so many tiny surprising playgrounds for the eye to dance around.
