| Description: Jasser Abu-Giemi started photography in 2001 when he lived in the remote and serene beauty of Bella Coola, BC. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, Jasser practiced and honed his photography skills but it was always portraits that inspired Jasser the most. Photographing people as they experienced their emotions and interacted with each other was the basis of Jasser’s photography record.
In 2008 Jasser started photographing weddings and has since had the honour of traveling to the Caribbean and throughout North America, photographing a total of over fifty weddings.
In 2009 and 2010 Jasser was listed one of the top photographers in Canada by Bride.ca
Jasser Abu-Giemi believes that interacting with his subjects and that communication is the strongest tool for a photographer. His passion for photography and for the families that are celebrating their weddings has led him to build strong friendships among his clients and other professionals. Known for dramatic colour, strong lighting and evening portraiture, Jasser has become one of the most sought after photographers in Alberta.
When Jasser isn’t spending time practicing photography and fine-tuning his skills he enjoys quiet time with his adorable dog.
